more than just a job
One of the reasons I stepped into design was my curiosity about daily things and nature. The natural world is a fantastic inspiration for design.
Nature developed a way of positively diverting us from our interests, views, and systems into something modest.
compassion
To put aside our assumptions about the world and create a bridge to understand the ideas, thoughts and needs of others simultaneously. Empathy shouldn't be limited to users. I'd apply it to the products, business needs, colleagues and clients. It could even direct the materials we design or spread to ourselves.
with accessibility in mind
Design is a way to be inclusive to all people. There are barriers in the real world, though history shows us accessibility ignites innovation.
Our expression and humanity can be embedded into the design with newer insights and making the world better place.
